Point of Sale (POS)

The fastest way to ring up customers and complete sales directly over the counter or over the phone. The POS is designed for rapid entry and touch-screen environments.

Key Features & How to Complete a Sale

1. Navigate to POS

From the left-hand menu, click POS.

You can rapidly locate items using:

  • Search Bar — by product name or SKU
  • Category and Brand dropdown filters at the top — instantly narrow down the grid, making it easy for cashiers to tap the right items without typing

3. Add Items & Adjust Cart

  • Click on an item card to bring it into the cart
  • In the right-side cart panel, use the + and - buttons to adjust the quantity
  • Click the trash can to remove an item completely

4. Apply Discounts (Optional)

Need to haggle? Click on the discount field at the bottom of the cart to apply a flat amount or percentage discount off the grand total.

5. Assign a Customer (Optional)

Click "Select Customer" to attach this sale to a specific person for CRM purposes.

  • If it's a first-time shopper, click "Add New Customer" directly within the POS to capture their details on the fly

6. Checkout & Payments

Click the Checkout button to move to the payment stage.

Immediate Payment vs. Pay Later

You do not have to collect payment right at the POS. If a client is buying on store credit, you can finish the checkout with $0 collected, generating an "Unpaid" invoice.

Partial & Multi-Tender

In the payment screen:

  • Capture the exact amount handed over
  • Record split payments (e.g., half in Cash, half via Credit Card)
  • If recording a Bank Transfer, input the Sender's Bank Name, Account Title, and Recipient details for financial auditing

7. Success

A notification will appear upon successful creation. You can click "View Invoice" directly from that notification to print the generated receipt.

Expense Templates in POS

If your business regularly deals with immediate costs attributed to a sale (e.g., paying a delivery driver a tip from the register), you can create Expense Templates in the Expenses section. These will appear as fast-action buttons directly inside the POS interface.
